Content Developer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Datum Course Content Developer will be responsible for developing, reviewing, designing, revising, and maintaining course development required for the Air Force Learning Services Ecosystem (AFLSE) program. Under general guidance, will organize and conduct moderately complex training and educational programs for AFLSE functional capability areas to include Learner Management (LM), Business Reporting Intelligence and Analysis Tool (BRIAT), Total Force Training Record (TFTR), and Adobe Connect services.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand training content needs and build technically accurate content that meets the learning objectives of new and existing users
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and research the requirements of role-based curriculums
  • Design and develop new courses and other teaching resources
  • Take a hands-on approach to learning the AFSLE platform and various use cases
  • Apply instructional design techniques, best practices, and adult learning theory in designing courses
  • Drive projects to completion in an environment with competing deadlines
  • Measure impact, gather key success metrics and report on findings
  • Identify gaps in course offerings and propose solutions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in in business, technical communication or an IT related field
  • Experience in designing technical courseware
  • Experience with training or using Adobe Connect, Adobe Experience Manager, Educian, Qlik, or Verint software, preferred but not required
  • Experience working in a fastpaced and highly collaborative environment
  • Experience developing highly technical courseware – should be able to easily to translate highly complex technical concepts into easily accessible language
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams
  • Expert analytical, written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Word)
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a government led MultiFunctional Team (MFT)
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work within a team and independently

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Program Manager.
