Integration/Interface Analyst

Datum’s Government Solutions team is currently looking to hire an experienced Integration/Interface Analyst will primarily be working alongside the Data Architect and will drive Interfaces and Integration governance and solutions for the Air Force Learning Services Ecosystem (AFLSE) program. The Integration/Interface Analyst will provide technical expertise in the architecture, design, and baseline configuration of interfaces and data exchanges required for the AFLSE program. The Integration/Interface Analyst is responsible for all aspects of interface and integration management, including but not limited to, policy and standard development, interface cataloging, issue collection and resolution, auditing, and process improvements as it relates to the AFLSE integration strategy. The Integration/Interface Analyst will work alongside the Datum Data Architect, Datum technical team, government client’s and stakeholders.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated and have an assertive yet professional demeanor, a high technical aptitude, be detail oriented, and possess strong multitasking skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Contribute to the overall AFLSE integration/interface/data exchange strategy
  • Assist clients in achieving strategic objectives through integration solution implementation
  • Audit and revise integration policies, standards, and procedures
  • Oversee the deployment of integration/data exchange services across the AFLSE environment
  • In coordination with government, identify data interface partners by conducting gap analysis with previous phases and current activities
  • Produce Service Level Agreements for interface partners
  • Produce Web Service Agreements for all web services
  • Combine SLAs and WSAs to provide an information requirement agreement
  • Develop Interface Control Agreements (ICAs) and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) as required
  • Maintain AFLSE data exchange services
  • Expand the baseline AFLSE Application Programming Interface (API) Structure for both internal and external data exchanges
  • Establish and manage an enterprise data taxonomy and catalog
  • Help the Datum data architect in identifying, selecting and implementing tools and processes (once government approved) to support Integration governance, data exchange management, Inbound and Outbound Interface services
  • Facilitate enterprise integration management initiatives and priorities, and monitors the adherence enterprise projects to data exchange standards
  • Identify integration/interface, data exchange quality issues and recommendations for improvement
  • Participate in gathering requirements, planning, and implementation of integration/interface, data exchange management program and related integration governance improvements
  • Work with key business partners, technical staff, and vendors to understand what data Integration/Interface, data exchanges will be collected by new systems and provide recommendations on how the information will flow through systems with consideration for a phased implementation and desired future state
  • Analyze business requirements and convert into technical data requirements
  • Collaborate with Data Architect and AFLSE government team to define standards, policies, and procedures to improve the management of information, Integration and data throughout its lifecycle with an emphasis on improvements to data quality

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or other IT related field
  • 5+ years’ experience as Integration/Interface/Data Exchange Analyst
  • Demonstrates awareness of the practices needed to collect, handle, and protect the organization’s Interface/Data exchange from compromise, corruption and loss.
  • Maintains focus, and persistence, even under adversity, while maintaining the confidence of key stakeholders
  • Experience in API implementation approaches on ESB, SaaS, Iaas, PaaS, API, REST, SOA, SOAP, Batch, Realtime, Adapters, Mediation, Payload encoding, Cloud Native, Micro services
  • Experience in development of integration flows using Modern Communication Protocols
  • Experience in defining policies, retention, masking, encryptions for Event driven, API Design, distributed computing
  • Experience in managing integration drifts, scope, resources, full lifecycle API Management
  • Experience in defining, managing Integration SLAs for security, privacy, and process automation
  • Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with Department of Defense rule, regulation and policies (preferred)
  • Expert analytical, written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Word)
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a government led MultiFunctional Team (MFT)
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Program Manager.
