System Administrator will support the Chief of OSC Comm Support Team to ensure servers, workstations, peripherals, communications devices, and software is on-line and available to the user. Provide training and continuity throughout the OSC in regards to C2 Systems, including familiarity with OSC systems coordinated and congruent within existing OSC configurations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of five (5) years of experience (seven (7) without bachelor’s degree) in a USAF AOC, or joint partner equivalent, and demonstrated proficiency administering operational-level C2 and associated systems including, but not limited to, TBMCS, MAAP-TK, GCCS-J, JADOCS, VMware, and Citrix. Experience within an USAF AOC is preferred over joint experience. Experience supporting AOC operations within classified environments to include SIPRNet and/or JWICS. Demonstrated proficiency using unclassified (NIPRNet) and classified (SIPRNet) network enterprise environments, office automation software to include Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and hardware virtualization environments. Demonstrated systems administration proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating system software for servers and workstations. Demonstrated systems administration proficiency with Sun Microsystems Solaris operating systems software for servers and workstations. Completion of the Air Operations Center Initial Qualification Systems Administrator course (AOCIQTSYS), when provided by the Government.
Possess certification(s) in accordance with DoD Manual 8570.01-M IAT LVL II (or its replacement) (Security +)
