Integration Specialist



The Datum Integration Specialist will provide the Air Force Learning Services Ecosystem (AFLSE) program with design, implementation and maintenance support. The AFLSE program is located at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. AFLSE is a cloud-based learning ecosystem that will allow students to learn anywhere, anytime and on any device.

The Datum Integration specialist will be responsible for applying database, software application, and software infrastructure components knowledge and expertise to support application and service developers the integration of products and services to the AFLSE Microsoft Azure environment. The Integration Specialist will be actively involved in installations, configuration, and operation of mission application releases used to support testing, performance, development and integration.


  • Assist with integration into the AFLSE Microsoft Azure cloud environment
  • Gather and document integration requirements
  • Research and recommend the appropriate ETL tool for client integration requirements
  • Design and document integration flows between systems, ensuring that the technical architecture is modifiable, dependable and scalable
  • Build and test integrations
  • Facilitate client facing technical communication throughout the project to ensure accurate solution design
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Collect and report performance metrics data
  • Operational configuration management


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other IT related field
  • Experience/familiarity with:
  • Security+ CE or equivalent IAT Level I certification
  • Secret clearance
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
  • Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Experience with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs)
  • Experience with Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) Assessments
  • Experience with Department of Defense rule, regulation and policies (preferred)
  • Expert analytical, written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Word)
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a government led MultiFunctional Team (MFT)
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
