SR. SYSTEMS ANALYST – WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB – DAYTON, OH

 

Datum Software, Inc. Government Solutions (GS) is seeking a qualified Sr. Systems Analyst candidate to support the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Program Management Office (PMO) for the “Requirements Management System” (RMS) in Dayton, OH. RMS forecasts and computes procurement and repair requirements for Air Force materiel needed for logistics and depot-maintenance level support.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct reviews and provide updates to functional and technical documents pertaining to the RMS system. These documents may include, but not be limited to Information Support Plans, Risk Management Plans, System Architectural Engineering Descriptions, Military Standards and Specifications, Contingency of Operations Plans, Software Requirements Specifications, Test Plans, Software Design Documents, etc.
  • Participate in Program Management Reviews and various weekly meetings to discuss a variety of items associated with the ongoing sustainment and milestone activities of the RMS system.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of the Business and Enterprise Architecture (BEA) methodology and related milestones, documentation, and artifacts.
  • A minimum of a completed National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) or the ability to pass a NACI investigation conducted by the US Government.
  • Three years of functional/technical experience with RMS or comparable programs.
  • Ability to work independently with diverse teams of functional and technical staff.
  • Efficient skills in MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Excel and utilization of SharePoint.
  • Good communication skills.

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain requirements or AF Logistics systems.
  • Functional or User knowledge of D200 (RMS) and its subsystems or knowledge of the following related systems: 
    • DD1000 – Annual Congressional Supply System Inventory Report
    • D072 – Other War Reserve Material Requirements
    • D040-RSSL – Requirements and Spares Support Lists
    • D040-WSSP – Weapon System Support Program
  • Understanding of mainframe and Cloud web-based computing systems.
  • General knowledge of agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Information Systems Management Tool (ISMT)
  • Understanding of the Corporate Data Repository System (CDRS) used in developing Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
     

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Work is currently being performed via teleworking, so the successful candidate must have sufficient in-home internet capability. Candidate must also be within commuting distance of WPAFB for future transition to an on-site work location. Plans are in place to eventually relocate to a Government facility.
