HR Generalist

Datum Software is actively recruiting for an HR Generalist that will serve as the liaison between Datum and their clients. The Generalist will be responsible for onboarding, new hire orientation, administration of talent management programs and employment policies, benefit/401K administration and day-to-day support for staff and managers. The goal for this position is to serve and understand the client’s demands, concerns and plan how to meet the demands of the client. Qualified candidates will work independently, wear multiple hats, and be productive in an onsite working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize multiple systems to manage employee data including ADP for payroll, benefits, and Self-Service onboarding, Bullhorn HR for applicant tracking and HRIS
  • Manage new employee onboarding, E-I9, benefit enrollment, self-service, orientation programs and activities for local and field staff
  • Administer company benefit plans and assist employees with benefit plan questions and issues; coordinate and communicate benefit plan information and compliance
  • Administer all leave programs (FMLA, STD, LTD)
  • COVID LOA policy and procedure development
  • Administer 401k program with 3rd party vendor – review and file 5500
  • COBRA and ADA administration
  • Open Enrollment – working with vendor to have rates setup and rolled out in a timely manner
  • ISO document management
  • Internal/External Audit experience
  • Perform employee relations counseling to resolve conflicts and any necessary documentation
  • Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of HR Policies and procedures to employees and managers
  • Administer and assist in the development of HR policies and procedures and facilitate publishing of policies on HR portal

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, related field, or education and experience combined
  • 5+ years’ HR experience, preferably touching on the full range of HR administration (benefits, payroll, employee relations, and HRIS etc.)
  • ADP WFN experience
  • HR-related certification preferred – PHR or SHRM-CP
  • Federal, State, OSHA, and OFCCP compliance
  • Assertive, resourceful, and not afraid to dive right in
  • Strong consultative, interpersonal, leadership, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Outstanding computer skills including Microsoft Office programs and proficiency with HR systems
  • High level of customer service focus and project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload daily based on organizational needs, handle time sensitive material
  • Demonstrated ability to lead as a team member and as a positive role model
  • Proactive approach toward work and flexibility to adapt to changing needs
  • Confidential and professional at all times
