Technical Product Owner/ Business Analyst

We continually look to new technologies to advance its customer experiences, and this role offers an excellent chance to join an IT team that has embraced; and is leading the way, in a new digital and API platform for their online systems. This role will work on a team that develops, delivers and supports products that help delta Improve customer satisfaction and brand loyalty creating affinity to both the product and brand that have a direct impact on revenue streams. The ideal Agile Business Analyst/ Tech PO, will have worked in an Agile / Scrum environment, partnered with business stakeholders (Product Owners, Product Managers) in defining agile requirements (Epics/Features & Stories) and enabling agile teams to deliver. The Technical Product Owner is responsible for managing end to end technical design, development, production, enhancements, and support of Products within Offer and Order APC (Agile Product category) . The candidate will have expertise in implementing and developing Self-Service IT solutions and a true tech savvy, technologist at heart.

 

A successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Technical Product Owner with Strong API's with experience developing requirements and test scenarios for automated test suites for APIs
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as in a Technical Product Owner preferrable with Airline Domain Experience
  • Experience with API's, JSON (Javascript Object Notation), and Apigee tool.
  • Must be able to maintain API documentation
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile or other rapid application development methods
  • Must possess the technical expertise to apply relevant technical processes to appropriate business needs
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with management, staff and customers as well as demonstrate sound judgment/reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve exceptional results
  • Candidate must have the ability to deliver quality work on time and translate planning into action by following applicable established procedures or methodologies
  • Must also have the ability to proactively monitor and control task status by collecting and analyzing task data to anticipate and address barriers
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, customer focus
  • Works well within tight deadlines (able to prioritize)
  • Ensure that the methodology, standards and procedures are adopted and implemented
  • Ensure that the technical solutions meet the customers' business goals and that customer satisfaction with the project and conclusion is high
  • Act as a Point of contact for technical issues, creating documentation, monitoring service levels
  • Coordinate activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capability to understand and set direction for complex technology integration
  • Additionally, candidate must be a self-learner with the ability to pick up new technologies and provide
