Data Analyst

Location: Alpharetta GA 

Summary: This position will focus primarily on the measurement, reporting, and analysis of data from a host of third-party tools (MAP, Social Media etc.) and CRM for the purpose of optimizing the organization's marketing efforts. This person will be responsible for finding important data patterns, analyzing business problems, and explaining “what’s happening” and “why.”

The person in this position is skilled at conveying logical explanations to complex problems, while presenting easy-to-understand data analyses from disparate sources. This position plays a key role in generating recommendations for initiatives that are crucial to the achievement of marketing objectives in the Digital marketing space.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Write SQL queries to export data and test the quality of the data
• Develop dashboards on regular and ad hoc basis
• Produce reports on regular and ad hoc basis
• Verify, check and compare data from different external sources or internal systems

Knowledge and Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in writing query in MS SQL Server database
• Hands-on experience in building dashboards using Power BI
• Hands-on experience in building dashboards using Tableau is a plus

• Ability to work with multiple teams
•Experience with different types of digital campaigns and social media platforms
• Ability to deliver on minimal guidance and supervision
• Strong passion for digital media and emerging technologies with a solid understanding of trends within web analytics, search marketing, email marketing, mobile and social media
• Familiarity with Google Ads, GTM and Google Search Console
• Familiarity with Adobe DTM and other tag management systems
• An understanding of digital marketing and customer segmentation
• Experience developing multi-channel digital marketing campaign performance reporting to answer strategic questions with data
